The Fjordstar Warranty information below relates to craft sold in the UK & Ireland only. It does not replace customers legal rights.
Boat Only warranty excludes engine, trailer, electronics and other added equipment
Leisure Use warranty period is 2 years "Back to Dealer", from the date of initial collection/delivery. It's the responsibility of the customer to return the boat to the dealer for any agreed warranty work, and collect after the repair work is completed, at their own cost.
Commercial Use warranty period is 1 year "Back to Dealer", from the date of initial collection/delivery. It's the responsibility of the customer to return the boat to the dealer for any agreed warranty work to be carried out, and collect after the repair work is completed, at their own cost.
Items covered under 2 Year Leisure / 1 Year Commercial Warranty: GRP Material, Structure & Assembly; Tube Material, Structure, Assembly & Fixing
Items with restricted 1 Year Warranty: Fixtures & fittings on tubes and deck; mechanical steering; stainless work; covers; upholstery; windscreen; all ancillary & electrical equipment
Areas not covered by warranty include damage caused by accidents and misuse, normal wear and tear etc.
If you need to make a repair and the boat is in warranty, speak to your Dealer first. We do not pay unauthorised 3rd party repair invoices.
Selva Marine Outboard Warranty
Selva Marine offer a 5 Year Factory Leisure Use / 1 Year Commercial Use warranty on their Outboards on a back-to dealer basis. Selva's Warranty covers the customer across UK, Ireland and over to France, Spain etc. if required when abroad. For more information speak to your Fjordstar powered by Selva Dealer.
Other items fitted to the boat such as electrical and navigation equipment, plus trailers etc. will have their own warranties. It's important to go through these with your selling Dealer to ensure the equipment is registered for warranty at time of sale.
